At Duke I have been involved with Project WILD as a hiking leader and
a medical advisor/administrator, travelling to Pisgah National Forest
several times a year for extended backpacking trips. I also volunteer
in a patient-care and
supervisory role as an emergency medical technician and Crew Chief with
Duke University Emergency Medical Services.
